Simple Salmon Skewer

The beauty of the Sear'd Vertical Skewer is that it allows you to grill things that need a bit more support on the grill, like fish for example. I am a big fan of seafood skewers but fish especially is notorious for falling apart during the grilling process. With the Sear'd Vertical Skewer I can stack the skewer with my favorite fish and vegies, pop it on the grill and not worry about it falling through during cooking or turning.

Here is a simple, healthy recipe I use all the time:

INGREDIENTS:

1 Fresh Salmon fillet

1 Green Pepper

1 Red Pepper

1 Red Onion

Lemon Juice

Garlic powder

Butter

Salt & Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Heat grill 350 degrees. Cut salmon into 3-4" long fillets, cover in lemon juice and butter. Cut vegetables into 3" pieces. Stack the skewer starting with the largest salmon fillet on the bottom followed by onion, red pepper then green pepper. Repeat until the desired height.

2) Grill approximately 20-25 minutes or until salmon is light pink on the inside and vegetables have been roasted.

3) Remove from skewer and season with butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper to taste! Enjoy!
